Chanting Concert with Jaya Saraswati

Inspired by the ancient chakra system philosophy, this workshop unfolds through a series of dynamic, fun, playful and grounding games/exercises that bring in the elements of Earth, Water, Fire and Breath. Inviting the participants to explore and deepen their connections with each other as well as with themselves.
As in every journey, we return home by soothing into a deep Yin stretch, landing and closing the container with a live music savasana soundscape, utilizing a variety of instruments, vibrations and frequencies for ultimate integration.
San Juan Women's Weaving Cooperative Tour
$50 per person, minimum 4 people
Book a private tour of neighboring San Juan La Laguna's local artisan offerings! Known for their beautiful handmade textiles, weaving, and other artisanal products.
Tour includes visiting a San Juan women's weaving cooperative of single mothers, coffee and cacao tour, bee tour, lookout point, and view of murals all while learning local history and culture. Approximately 4 hours long. Transportation included. Meals not included.
Mayan Face Hike

Mayan fire ceremony
$45 per person, 10 person minimum
Traditional ceremonies based on the Mayan worldview, led by ajqija'b, timekeepers, Mayan people who have inherited this tradition from generation to generation.
Our fire ceremonies are facilitated by Izaias Mendoza or Walter Quiacain or Ayana. All of these guides invite us to navigate the gifts of the Mayan calendar, to connect with the counting of the days, and to explore ourselves through the knowledge of the nawales (energies).
Offerings to the sacred fire are made with different elements such as cacao beans, sesame seeds, rosemary, sticks, corn, herbals incense and many others, a way to give thanks for everything we receive each day.

Mayan fire & CACAO ceremony
$60 per person, 10 person minimum
Mayan Cacao and Sacred Fire Ceremony is a beautiful combination and very powerful form of ritual that connects us with the heart and allows us to work in cycles of 9 months, putting our intentions into the ceremony as we sow the blessings of our offerings, diving deeper and deeper into our hearts.
Drinking ceremonial cacao to begin the fire ceremony connects us all in a state of being with Ajaw – Ahau (The Creator) that is the sensation we feel in the heart, where in front of us is an ancient sacred fire that it has been build to receive and transform the offering
Abuelo Fuego (Grandfather Fire) listens, purifies, heals, receives, transforms, cleans and forgives as we release that which no longer serves us, connect with our ancestors, and are ultimately shown how to call peace into our hearts.

Enjoy a guided sunrise tour on the lake with a guide from Venga Atitlan SUP tours; Join us for one of our famous sunrise tours for a truly unforgettable experience. Our 3hr SUP tours are beginner friendly – no experience needed. Every tour is unique and personalized for our guests. Explore hidden sections of the lake, try out some cliff jumping, SUP Yoga or perhaps stop for a mouth-watering breakfast at a lakefront cafe!

Facilitators hosting retreats at Casa Floresta are welcome to access a curated collection of sound instruments, to support meditation, sound journeys, yoga, or integration sessions during your retreat. Instruments are to be used with care and returned in the same condition in which they were received, or extra charges will apply.
