Embody the Elements is a 7-day immersive yoga retreat held on the sacred shores of Lake Atitlán, surrounded by volcanoes and steeped in Mayan tradition. Each day is inspired by one of the five elements — fire, water, earth, air, and ether — and weaves together dynamic yoga and movement practices, guided self-inquiry, Mayan ceremonies, nature immersion, and cultural exploration. Guests will swim in volcanic waters, explore nearby villages, enjoy fresh nourishing vegetarian meals, and gather in community under the stars.
The retreat is led by Bailey Wesselman, a 500-hour certified yoga teacher and longtime member of the Present Practice community. With a background in ballet and a love for dynamic movement, Bailey’s classes blend strength, fluidity, and intentional transitions, helping students move with clarity and presence both on and off the mat.
